Anderson1951 Store 1967 Ford Galaxie LTD Restored 390 Automatic AC Disc Brake You are looking at a very nicely restored 1967 Ford Galaxie fully loaded. This is the LTD model as the badges show. 390 big block starts quickly and C6 auto trans shifts very smoothly through the gears. As for power, step on the pedal and you are gone. Every time I drive it I get compliments galore and thumbs up from all who see it. If you don't want attention, this is not the car for you. This California built car was purchased new and lived a few miles north of Los Angeles, driven by the grandfather of the family I purchased it from a few years ago as the very low original miles attest. Fully optioned with factory power disc brakes, power steering and working air conditioning. This car steers and stops quick and straight and drives very smoothly on the fresh shock absorbers I have installed at all 4 corners. The tires are in nice condition and period proper white walls. I put on 2 NOS wheel covers and am looking for the other 2 I got with that set to install on the passenger side. I will mention a few of the mechanical items I replaced recently and those items I have forgotten will show up when I post a revision to the auction. Warranty number is 63J I ZG 27A 71 (Los Angeles) 8 U Engine tuned and serviced. New points, cap, rotor condenser and coil. Transmission serviced and fluid changed. Differential gear oil changed Chassis lubrication New brake calipers, master cylinder, proportioning valve and pads New rear shoes and cylinders New battery Period correct wiper blades, new I have restored many items in the interior including front and rear seat upholstery, headliner, dash pad and rear package tray to mention a few items. The carpet is original and not perfect but not in immediate need of replacement so I left it in. Easily changed out if you so choose. When I received the car, the formal roof was mostly missing so I chose to eliminate it although it could be easily restored. I will be including a list of very good resources I discovered in the glove box. The paint is very high quality base clear in the correct factory color, buffed smooth and the body is very, very straight as the photos show. I'm sure if you would like to take a magnifying glass to it, you may find a defect or 2 but I challenge you to buy this sort of job for under 4 or 5 thousand dollars alone. The dar was almost rust free everywhere except for a small strip in the trunk from a leaky seal which has now been repaired. Fenders, frame and floors were solid as one would expect from a car from this dry climate. I will be posting the underneath detail shots and any others you might want (just ask) on Monday evening when I will have a chance to put it up on the hoist.
