We did not expect that truck to sell for close to retail and we had a lot of calls about the driveablity of the vehicle, so we had it checked out durning the auction per multiple requests from bidders. We found out the truck had some engine troubles and we did NOT want to ship it to the winning bidder in that condition. Please forgive us for not wanting to sell a damaged vehicle. The buyer was explained all this and we mutally cancelled the auction contract. We refunded all the buyers deposit money asap and we still had to pay all the eBay fees. I guess the buyer would of been happier if we shipped them a truck that ran bad. (We noted in the auction that it felt like a tune up was in need, but did not know the extent of the problems until later). We thought the decision to cancel the sale was better for our conscience.
