This is an unrestored original car that has been carefully maintained and stored by a deceased friend who owned it for 20 years or more. The paint appears original. It is faded but quite presentable. Sheet metal and panel fit are excellent. The interior is outstanding, showing very little wear and tear. It has factory air. The fan does not work, so I can't confirm functionality of the AC, but all the major components are in place. This car drives like only a well-maintained original car can. It has working PS and PB. It is surprisingly fast, it moves out very smartly with the 340 4bbl V-8. The Formula S dual exhausts sound great. Tranny shifts crisply. There is mild vibration from the tires at speeds over 60. The tires may have flat spots from being parked for many years. Steering is very tight. Mileage indicated is 6500, probably is 106500 but I don't know for sure. I would not hesitate to drive this car on a long trip. I would probably have a mechanic check it out first and change the tires because they are old (tread looks fine). It would be hard to find an original Barracuda much nicer than this one. It does not look, feel or act like a 34 year old car. I welcome any inspection by prospective buyers.
