1970 Cougar with no rust issues and documentation dating back to the day it was sold from the new car dealer in Modesto, CA along with maintenance records. Drives, runs, shifts, and rides fantastic. The 351 Cleveland V8 2 barrel Engine was completely rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago, amazing amount of money spent. All new belts, hoses, shocks, and brakes. Power Disc front, Drum back. A/C blows ice cold. Magnum 500 wheels with cougar center caps and knee deep in Goodyear rubber. This Cougar has the original Pastel Yellow paint which is a creamish color with Ginger Interior seats which are the original covers and look great. It has new carpet and an AM/FM Ford radio with a new speaker. Has a in dash Tachometer. Rare rim/blow steering wheel horn that works great. This car has spent it's whole life in dry climate and has the dry body to show for it. The hidden headlights work as they should and the sequential tail lights work great too. It sports brand new dual exhaust and mufflers with chrome tail pipe tips and sounds great. This car has the original paint. It has some areas that the paint has worn thin as shown in the pictures but it is 40 plus years old. To repaint a true original time capsule that still looks great is personal choice. The pictures speak for themselves. The body panels show the original number stamps from the factory and crayon marks on some still show. It has a couple small parking lot dings but that is it. Original bumpers and chrome trim. The car was undercoated by the dealer when sold new. Marti report on this car shows it was only one of just 99 cars produced in 1970 with these paint/trim codes. It also has the FMX automatic transmission along with a 9 inch, 3.00 rear axle with TRACTION-LOK differential!! Power steering, tinted glass, and a remote control driver's Racing Mirror. Brand new spare tire, tire cover and trunk liner. Original Jack and lug wrench. This car comes with original documentation from new that includes the original buyer's paperwork with warranty info, owner's manual, build sheet, all copies of maintenance records, all the way down to every copy of when a battery or wiper blades were put on. Hundreds of pages. A Deluxe Marti Report and over $8,000 in copies of work done rebuilding the engine and components along with replacing all the weather stripping.
