Up for sale is my 1963 GMC Pick up truck. I purchased this truck last year with hopes to convert it into an old fashioned vintage rustic looking pick up and drive it but i lost interest and have no time. The truck starts, it runs and drives. The engine and transmission i believe are original to the truck however I am NOT certain. The truck has a manual gearbox, 6 cyl engine, and 4x4, all of which work well. This truck will start run and drive however I do not recommend driving it home since it has been sitting for a few months. The 4x4 is functional, has new brake lines, the engine runs strong, all of the gauges work, except the gas gauge, the interior is not that bad but the floor pans are rusty (mainly along door sills) (see pictures) (the truck is rusty!!!! it needs work) The glass on this truck is very good, all of the upper body is solid, rust only on the lower half, and floors, the frame is solid. The bed is made of wood (needs replacement) the exhaust system and drive train are in good shape. I am not sure what engine is in the truck I will investigate, I know it is the original "work horse" heavy duty 6 cyl of its time, it has a 4 speed transmission (1st gear is crawl gear only) 2, 3, 4 all work well, clutch works well no issues there, lights and blinkers work, brakes ok but could use attention. Please call me with questions It has a western plow comes with the truck, I also have TONS of original parts that were taken off, including spot lights, mirrors emblems and interior parts. The plow is a western, I recommend looking at the truck in person, I HAVE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL FROM 1963. Great project Thank you!
