Vehicle Detail
For sale: '91 Honda Accord LX I am selling my white coupe. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, and stops very well. The problems it has are: Leaky fuel line on driver side, some kind of electrical issue where the battery is drained if it doesnt run for a while, power steering does not work. Fuel line will probably need replaced. It leaks steadily and therefore I would STRONGLY suggest towing the vehicle. I tried to have it patched and it leaked again. So if it was me, I would just replace the entire line. I dont know what is draining the battery, I put a new battery in and the car stays running once its started. Could have something to do with the radio being stolen. Power steering is out. Car can still be driven like this, but it is something that most will want to fix. Brakes work great. There was some brake work that was done and they never got around to having the brake lines professionally bled, so there is not as much pressure in the pedal as you would expect but the car stops very responsively every time. Interior is the best part of the car. Very clean, with a rare two-tone blue theme. Nice, newer tires w/ lots of tread left. Exterior is far from perfect. Not pictured is the side profile of the car. It has the typical rust on the wheel wells. There was some bondo work done to that area that is starting to become obvious. And it could use a wash, BAD. It is a four cylinder automatic w/ the optional sport shift tranny. 170k miles, and those who know these cars know that they will often go to 250k and beyond. Its not a beautiful car, but it will be very reliable once it is back on the road. Great first car. No dash lights were on when I was in it last. It has been sitting since Fall 2011. Car is for sale locally and if it is still on here, I have not sold it yet. I reserve the right to end the listing early. Any additional questions just call me 216-704-4506. My name is Michael. Thanks for looking!
