Featured at the 2012 Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance, this is an excellent example of automobile craftsmanship and has undergone extensive restoration work and diligently maintained. The car has new carpeting, leather upholstery ,exhaust, brakes, power booster, fuel pump, fuel pump starter, weather seals, radial tires (original bias tires are available), the radiator has been rebuilt with a new high volume core and a new drive shaft insulator and bearing installed. The air conditioning has been upgraded with a new compressor. The car is an extremely smooth running vehicle which performs as well as It looks. Wherever the car appears it attracts attention and receives admiring glances and honk of appreciation. It has always been stored in a climate controlled environment. The 1956 Continental Mark II was a hand crafted, hand built automobile. The assembly was performed on a dedicated assembly line subject to uncompromising quality control. Each car was outfitted with every luxury feature available in 1956. With a price tag of $10,000 it approached the cost of a Rolls Royce and was more than double that of new Cadillac. After its public introduction as the 1955 Paris Auto show this unique coupe became the choice of celebrities around the world among whom were Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley Nelson Rockefeller, Bill Harrah to mention a few. This automobile is considered one of the finest styled cars of the 50’s, with a look that remains ageless even by today’s standards
