This British 1976 Triumph TR6 is a classic collectors sports car that I purchased from the private collection of famous British car classic enthusiast and speaker, Peter Fino. I have owned the car since 1988 and I am the third owner. I have all the original paper (original invoice and sticker included!) and even the business card of the salesman "Frank" who sold it to the original owner. The car had only 4600 original miles when I purchased it and now has only 25,277 original miles. It has a hard top, tonneau cover, and dust cover. This vehicle has overdrive, air conditioning, CD radio, spare tire and a jack. It has been garage kept though it does have a couple or few very minor scratches which, I imagine, can be easily buffed out. This is not the original paint job. I had it professionally repainted and reupholstered about ten years ago. The original interior was tan but I changed it to black when I had the car professionally reupholstered when it was repainted. I did not have the hard top repainted though it needs to be. The hard top still has the original tan fabric. The hard top was stored up on a pallet in my warehouse and I forgot to have it painted at the time the car was painted. There rag top is in great shape but has two 1/4" tears on either side (a family member put the top down incorrectly). The cover used to cover the rag top when it is down has and inch wide tear in it.The dash is new from the time of the interior was reupholstered though it does have a crack near the steering column. The choke button is not the original. It is a round (used in earlier TR-6's). It can easily be sourced. When I had the car tuned up and a new clutch put in about 2000 miles ago, they ordered the wrong choke switch. The vehicle has has been driven every year to keep the vehicle in good working condition. It does need a tune up and I believe the heater switch needs to be replaced. The overdrive is fantastic. The car is tight and it is fun driving it alI speeds...especially high speeds. The undercarriage and differential are very solid. The tires are excellent and have plenty of life.
