This car is being listed under the Other heading because Jensens are kind of rare and ebay does not have a heading for just Jensens. Up for auction is one of the best Jensen Healey in the country. It is a true British sports car and it is a rare car. I purchased this car from a man in Santa Barbara, California. He advised me this car had been his late father's pampered baby and after his fathers death, the car had been stored inside a garage for the last 22 years. The original paperwork and owner's manual came with the car. The original window sticker showed the car was originally purchased from Paul Dyer Toyota and had a sticker price of $7,015.00. The original purchaser wanted an orange Jensen when he purchased the car. This car was black from the factory. The solution was to have the dealer paint it the correct shade of orange at the time of purchase. The paint was done to factory specs and is in excellent condition. I purchased the car on ebay and had it shipped to Texas. When I received the car I was amazed at it's condition. The car was in pristine condition. It was box stock and everything on the car works including the clock and the cigar lighter. If you know about Jensen's, you can tell from the pictures that this car has all the correct parts that are usually missing from most Jensens. The body, interior and engine are all in original and excellent condition. The body has no rust, dents or door nicks. The paint is excellent. The underside and frame have no rust anywhere. The floors and the trunk have no rust. The interior is excellent with no rips or tears. The dashboard is excellent with no cracks. The wood trim on the dash is excellent with no cracks or blemishes. All the gauges work properly. The carpet and floormats including the trunk carpet, are great. The convertible top is original and in excellent condition. The plastic rear window is clear. The car comes with the original tonneau cover and the cover for the top when the top is down. The trunk still has the original carpet and the original jack is still in the case. The original spare tire is under the car. I even have what appears to be the original tires that came on the car and they are not cracked or rotted. The original stereo is still in the car and has all the correct paperwork for the stereo. When I received the car, it had not been outside in 22 years and the engine had not been started in that time. The car looked like it had just been parked the day before. After prepping the engine to start I attempted to start it. It started the second time the key was turned. It ran rough for about 30 seconds then smoothed out. Now it starts instantly and runs great. The engine does not smoke, leak or make any unusal noises. I have changed out both radiator hoses, fan belt, timing belt and filters just to be on the safe side. I replaced the tires but kept the original tires. I replaced all the fluids. I did replace the master cylinder. I kept everything that I replaced in case the new owner wants to go back to the original parts. This car is just the way it came from the factory. These cars came with Lotus 907 engines. The 907 engine is a double overhead cam 4 cylinder with 2 monster Stromberg carbs. It is the same engine that came in some Lotus models. The car only weighs a little over 2,200 pounds. This car is unique because it is original with all the original parts, including the air breather. The part under the hood that looks like a muffler is really the air breather. It is rare to see one still in place on a Jensen. I will help with shipping in any way I can. In return for a airline ticket back to DFW and a ride to the nearest airport, I will drive the car to the buyer or the Port of Houston for international shipping.
