Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for sale is a very nice 1985 Mercedes 300TD diesel wagon with very low miles just under 132,000. This car has been serving as a second vehicle and we had plans on keeping it for some time; however I just completed another project vehicle a lot faster than anticipated so we are going to let this lovely car find a new home. The car has had a repaint in the original color; although not perfect it is very presentable (there is a clear coat drip visible in one of the rain gutters in you look inside). The interior of the car shows a little age with some cracks in the seats and faded carpet, but is still very nice. The only exception are the sun visors are a little beat up. This car does have aftermarket third row seats with seat belts. There are no rear head rest and the previous owner removed the netting on the back of the front seats. A cup holder was added between the front seats. Amazingly enough the dash is in great condition as this is usually one of the first areas to start cracking like crazy. There are only three items that I know not to function on the car and they are the power antenna, factory clock and rear window washer. The rear door does not have a vacuum switch for the lock, but is easily locked with the key at the rear door. The a/c and heating system work as they should. Everything else on the car works correctly and more importantly here is a list of all the items replaced within the past 3000 miles or less. After seeing the list you will see that we had really planed on keeping this car for a while and some spare items are also included with the car. List of Items Replaced In the Past 3000 Miles Or Less: -new rear axles (not rebuilt)and replaced differential seals with new -new rotors and pads on the front (rear still have plenty of life) -Rear coil spring conversion and old system properly removed including pump -all new soft brake lines to each caliper -new shocks and steering damper -new neutral safety switch and shifter bushings -new rear differential support -new rubber fuel lines rated for biodiesel -driver’s seat springs rebuilt -new exterior door window wiper seals on all doors -new hazard switch -new alpine radio with iPod connection in glove box -5 new all-season tires -new glow plugs -valves adjusted, timing chain inspected and new valve cover gasket installed -EGR removed -aftermarket air cleaner installed -new mono valve for the heating system -new heater electric circulation pump -new thermostat -ALL fluids and filters recently changed -new windshield washer pump and hoses -alignment completed -new wiper blades front and rear-new rubber connectors between hard lines in vacuum system for the car-all new belts-new exhaust rubber hangers-new battery-upper radiator neck reinforced Spare items included: -front brake pads -new rear rotors, pads and parking brake pads -all four seals for the sun roof -new pad for the bottom side of the hood with installation instructions -many new coolant lines I am sure there are items I am forgetting that have been replaced, but hopefully the list of items above gives you an idea of the care that went into this car while we have owned it.
