Vehicle Detail

This 2 owner (both over 35 years old) Grand National is selling at NO RESERVE! 93,189 Original miles! This is the big brother to the T Type turbo car. This car is a florida car and spent most its life there. This is a great restore car or daily driver. I have driven the car about 150 miles and its a blast to drive! Has T Tops as well as ICE COLD AC. The body on the car is very straight. If you look down the side its not wavy or dented or misaligned. Its a great car if somebody wanted to restore! THe best part is the underside is rot and rust free. The rocker panels and floors are solid and original! The carpets and seats are in amazing condition! The car has had the rubber floor mat set for a long number of years so it perserved the carpet very nicely. So let me get the good and bad areas out so you have an idea of what your bidding on. Good *Unmolested grand national that isnt filled with bondo. *The history of the car is great. Having 2 owners and the cleanest autocheck report one could wish for is very important in my eyes. *Not rotted out or redone. No lipstick basically. *Interior is amazing. *Wheels and tires are in great shape *Powertrain is strong and healthy. The transmission shifts very solid and the engine runs great! Bad *Paint is gone. Will need to be completely repainted. *Steering column has play in it. I drove it fine the way it is but i was told some bearing goes and its fairly common. Basically when you go from park to drive or move the key you have to move the wheel slightly. I will look into this before the auction ends but i want to be honest and up front. *valve covers are seeping a little but im sure its expected from a car of this age. Headliner is stapled up. Was told his child pulled it down and i beleive him but it is up and out of the way but its stapled. Basically its a 1987 car that has been driven fairly little and age shows itself. Your not buying a show car. Its an all original 1987 Turbo Buick that you can put a little love into and have a nice driver or you can go all out and restore it as a hobby. Expect just that. I dont want to over describe the car. I would rather have the new owner happier to see it then not. Clean title of course. True miles of course. I hope that whoever does win the auction decides to restore it because it would be one heck of a machine done right. On my short rides with it i got thumbs up and people approaching me all the time. Feel free to call me with any questions as you may have more knowledge on these cars and i will answer anything that comes to mind and or go to the car and explain to you exactly what you would like to know. Thank you for viewing my auction. Have a nice day! 860-299-6554 Dean p.s the boost gauge works. Goes to about 15 psi. Car pulls very good. Brakes feel excellent without any pulsation. Just a nice solid platform to start with, the rest is up to you! Thanks On Mar-20-12 at 17:13:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Your browser does not support JavaScript.
