For Sale: 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Van This van will be a lot of fun for someone. We have too many toys and projects so this one needs to go. Everyone who sees it, wants it or falls in love with it. We took it to a small car show last weekend and had great feedback. It is ready for someone who wants to finish it to their own tastes. The body and paint is freshly done and looks great. The paint and body are good driver quality. The paint is a semi-gloss metallic gold (PPG) and the roof is a gloss white (Glasurit). The van interior was not painted or touched. There are small spots of rust in two doorjambs. The front seat is cracked under the cover. It does not match the rear seat. The van is lowered and riding on bumpstops. No shocks installed, so it's a rough ride. The front springs are cut coils, and the rear springs are cut Jeep TJ springs (the rear stock, uncut springs are included). The tires are in good condition but are older. This van is originally a panel van but years ago, a Corvair collector (whom we purchased it from) installed windows. Motor runs good but could use a tune up. The windshield does have one crack that runs up and down. This is a 50 year old vehicle, please expect some minor fix ups. Bottom line, this van is simple, there isn't a whole lot of interior to mess with, and it looks great. It would be easy for the next owners to add some finishing touches that will make it that much better. Any other questions or if other pictures are required, please do not hesitate to ask. We require the van to be picked up within 2 weeks of auction end or other arrangements to be made.
