LOOK!!! a 2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata - Convertible! I am selling my Miata to reduce the number of vehicles that I have to pay taxes, registration, and insurance on. I bought this Miata just over a year and a half ago due to the fact that I lived about 40 miles from work and I needed something that got good gas mileage as a commuter vehicle. Since that time, I have moved much closer to work, so the need is not there anymore. This car is in excellent shape and runs fantastic. There are no dings or scratches to speak of on this car ; the convertible top works great, all electrical items function properly, the AC works fine... this car just runs great and is actually fun to drive. Although, it is small inside and it's a little hard for me to get my big fat belly into it : ) I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles and have taken good care of it. It is always garaged. about 16 months ago, I had a new water pump installed (timing belt was replaced as well). That is the only thing I have had to do on this car since I have owned it. Since it only has a 4 cyl. in it, it would make a great first car for your kid, it gets up to speed decently, but its not going to be a contender in a drag race at midnight when your kid is out cruising the streets. This is just an all around nice car... I'd like to keep it, but with our crazy congress spending money like water and our economy tanking worse every day, I need to downsize. I am also selling this car locally, so it may sell before the listing ends. I live in Apple Valley, CA. I still owe about $4,200 on this vehicle, so this is the way this sale MUST go down. The lender is located in an office somewhere in San Diego and they will not meet us in person for a payoff on the loan. They have no local branches... They will ONLY accept a payoff of the loan through the mail. The buyer will give me a cashiers check in the amount of $4,500 made out to my lender with the balance paid in cash (to be paid in person at pickup or delivery). I would provide a bill of sale to the buyer and send the cashiers check in to my lender to pay off the car. I will sign over the title to the buyer and mail it to the buyer once I receive it from the lender. This is the way this sale must go, If this doesn't work for you, I understand, but that is the way this deal has to go down. Please don't ask me if we can do it another way, my lender is adamant about me sending the payoff amount only through the mail and I don't have enough cash to pay off this loan and get the title in advance.
