for sale is my CX500 clear title and current tags I stopped riding it about 6 months ago it has some kind of charging problem but I'm not sure what it is. could be the stator or regulator rectifier or a loose/bad wire. I dont have the time mess around with it. It runs but needs a new battery. I'd set it on the charger at night and could ride all day with no issues. I'v done the following to it within the last year or so: new tires new brakes and calipers rebuilt replaced one of the front forks new fork seals changed all fluids. replaced cam shaft seal behind tach I have some spare parts to go along with it including a spare radiator, rear wheel and a carb rebuild kit. What it needs: new Tach cable Battery Steering Berrings charging system issue figured out. TLC I'v done my best to cover what the bike needs. bike is sold AS IS. If you have a question I'll do my best to answer it. EDIT: I hooked it up to my car battery and started it you can view it here: Video I wanted to make sure it did infact start before I sold it. I would clean/rebuild the carbs before too much riding tho was poping alittle. Cleaning the carbs isnt hard just time consuming and I do have kits that go with the bike.
