Up for auction is a 1981 Volkswagen Vanagon Bus with 109k miles. Nicknamed Sunni. We are going to sell her due to plan on moving and can't all our toys, She run very well and has very little rust. I have put new tires, clutch master and hose, new fuel tank and hoses including the crossover hose from Westy.com. put a new EMPI dual muffler. The van is being sold for less then I have in her. I would like to sell to someone that will enjoy going to VW shows like we do. We have 3 aircooled and we hate to see her go. This can be driven but we have never taken her more then 60 miles out of town. It does not have heat but the exchangers are ther but not the tubing from them. Should be able to add back if wanted. If anyone has any questions please ask. The van shifts fine and runs good. No power house of course they only put 70 hp engines in these. No radio or A/c. Wipers, lights all work. I put a 150.00 Hella headlight kit in her. Much brighter. It does have some small surface rust that you can see in the pics, the door step rusted as all did under the rubber. Also has a few spots around back wheel well and hatch. Not bad for the year. Has 7 passenger seating but is missing one of the male seatbelt ends. Good spare tire and jack. May need brakes soon but does stop fine. I have put a reserve on the van because I am also selling locally. If you are under a 10 or have negative feedback please contact me before bidding. I do not ship, do loans or store for any period of time. I would like the van picked up within 7 days if possible. May be able to hold longer if traveling to pick up.
