Vehicle Detail
It has 207,xxx miles and still running like a beast. New battery, new radiator, new hood, new hood latch, raceland coilovers in the front, a lot more new parts. I drive it back and fourth between Greenville and Charleston every week. It gets about 45 a gallon. Even though diesel is more expensive you can't beat that. Pretty much rust free, some surface rust in the bed, strut towers are great, no rust on the pans, it's pretty much a rust free truck. Needs a new windshield. Also needs a new locking cylinder in the drivers side door. The passenger door locks fine but can only be opened from the inside. Windows work great. The interior has been redone. New carpet, new headliner, seats from an mk2 jetta that have been recovered, new door panels, dash was resprayed, new cd player, new door speakers. I have a Clear SC title in my name. It doesn't have A/C. New; injection pump radiator battery Pass axle and tie rod Raceland coilovers clutch timing belt various engine seals and head gasket interior-carpet, door panels, headliner, sunvisors, and mk2 jetta seats recovered door speakers glow plug relay radio roof rack (bent but still fits fine) thule rack/fairing matching vintage cooler bedcover (currently not on it) I have replaced a lot of other parts with good used parts also. The only concerns i have with it is the shifter needs to be rebuilt and it could use a set of glow plugs within the next year. Randomly it will idle a little rough but I still drive it no problems at all. It shows well in pictures but it is a 30 year old truck so it does have dings and scratches. Its a cool patina with the worn away diesel stripes. I would only consider trading for an Audi TT with cash on my end. I have the truck for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. On Mar-13-12 at 09:05:40 PDT, seller added the following information:I was driving it last night and out of nowhere the dash lights and rear tail lights quit working. I'm assuming something came loose. I also forgot to mention that the tailgate is in good condition but it won't open. One of the wires that goes from the handle to the latch mechanism is missing.
