I bought this jeep to fix for myself. I've had this for about 3 years and never touched it so here it is for sale. The frame is all painted with no signs of rust or rot. I did see 1 spot that had a patch welded onto it. I'm a certified welder and the patch looks like a good job. the frame looks to be in very good shape and very solid. Front and rear axles look to be either new or rebuilt/repainted. The same with the springs and the gas tank/skid plate. All hardware looks new. All brake lines are prebent S/S with the protective spring around it. The 5.7 GM v-8 came out of a 91 full size blazer I had that the body rotted off the frame. Its been sitting in my garage for 6 years but when I pulled it out of the truck it ran great with no issues. that is just bolted up to the a/m transmission. No torque converter. The transmission looks to be a 350 turbo with a adapter so the jeep 4x4 transfer case can bolt up to it. No driveshafts. It has all new (3 plus years old) Dick Cepek Fun country 36" tires mounted on 4 white spoke wheels. One wheel looks like someone sand blasted it and it rusted up. All tires have dry rot. All tires hold air but one takes about 2-3 weeks to leak out. It has locking hubs. The body is a fiberglass body. the one piece nose tilts to get to the motor. I have the tilt nose hardware but the nose is just resting on the frame. All 4 wheel openings have 3-4 inch plastic extention/flares moulded into the body which needs some touch up bodywork. The body and nose have no cracks and is in real good shape. Metal windshield frame in great shape but no glass. I have the metal dash with all the gauges and switches. Solid plastic racing seat. This jeep has alot of parts that would add up to alot of money but my reserve is less than the cost of the fiberglass body. if you are local email me and you can come to take a look.
