1968 Datsun Roadster 1600 with some extra parts. The floor boards have some fiberglass patches done by the previous owner. There are some bubbles on the paint, probably from rust. The emergency brake bracket that attaches to the floor board is loose because of rust hole on mounting bolts. Small dent on rear left quarter panel. Ignition switch needs work; there is a button on steering column to activate the starter after the key is turned (another ignition switch is in the part lot, but condition is unknown). A R16 engine and 4-speed transmission are installed in the car. It was running, but a bit rough, and the brakes have a small leak, but crossover lines on calipers and rubber hoses were replaced and master cylinder and calipers were rebuilt. Calipers could use re-lining. The car will not run now probably due to bad gas. The body is in decent shape and the paint is not too bad. However, there is some rust on the floor boards and battery tray area. All carpeting is missing and only the driver seat is installed, but have the passenger seat. Interior door panels are missing. Center console not installed. Headlight and turn signals do not work, but brake lights do. Some of the gauges do not work. Wiper motor works, but no wiper arms are installed. I have driven the car several times since I bought it back in 2004, but this IS a project car. The car came from the Huntsville, AL area. It has been sitting in my garage on jack stands for a couple of years. Car was last registered in 2010; vintage cars in Alabama do not have a title. ADDITIONAL PARTS INCLUDED (used) -One complete rear differential with leafsprings, brakes, etc. -One NOS clutch and pressure plate. -R16 carburetor set with intake manifold. -One R16 exhaust manifold. -One fuel tank. -Left and right front A-arms suspension assemblies. -Rollbar, racing type (a bit higher than windshield). -One hood lid with some trim pieces attached. -One trunk lid with some trim pieces attached. -Left and right doors with all the glass windows and some trim pieces attached. -Left and right front fenders (some rust). -Front and rear bumpers (some rust). -Windshield (some de-lamination). -Left and right seat frames with headrests (some rust). -One dashboard with speedometer and tachometer missing (cracked; glove box seems ok). -Center console with radio. -Speaker box. -Wiper motor. -Alternator core. -Convertible top frame. -Four steel wheels. -Some hub caps. Might have missed a few things, but the car and all the extra parts are been sold as a package. The mag wheels on picture are included with a new set of Falken Azenis. NO RESERVE. Local pick-up only; I can NOT deliver or arrange shipping. Pick-up needs to be made 8 days after auction closes; I can NOT store the vehicle longer than those 7 days after auctions ends. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required at the end of the auction.
