Very Nice, 1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe 4 Door Sedan. It has a 1954 Jobmaster 261 Six Cylinder Engine (casting 3703414). The 3 Speed Manual Transmission has 1954 internals/gears, installed in the original 1951 case and was rebuilt 4000 miles ago. The 10.5" Clutch, Pressure Plate, Pilot Bushing and Release Bearing were replaced when the transmission was done. The engine oil pan and timing gear cover were removed when the car was purchased, everything looked in great shape (bearings, timing gears etc). This car has been well maintained and most wear items have been repaired or replaced. Just did a tune-up and a compression check, all normal. Please study the pictures. The light gray interior was redone by the previous owner and is very clean and is in very good condition. No stains, rips or tears in the seats, door panels or headliner. The paint and body are also very nice, $7000 was spent on paint, body and chrome about 5 years ago. It is not perfect, it has one small star crack on the right rear fender (less then 1/2") and there is a small amount of "grit" mainly on the roof (problem with the painter's both filters). These are very minor problems, it shows very well. The body work included replacement inner and outer rocker panels. Has patch on front floor. No chips or crack in the glass. All the windows/vents work as they should and their rubber seals were replaced. It's been upgraded to a 12 volt system including the alternator, starter and electronic ignition (Pertronix). Has an aftermarket radio hanging under the dash. Most of the mechanical parts have been rebuilt or replaced over the last couple years like the tires, frontend (bushings, kingpins, idle arm, drag link), motor/trans mounts, rear spring bushings, fuel pump, carb, starter, alternator and brake master cylinder (some hard lines replaced). Most of the wiring has been replaced. All the lights, turn signals, horn, heater w/12v blower motor (replaced core and control valve rebuilt) and gauges work. Speedometer was overhauled and reset to all zero's, currently shows 900 miles. Even the clock works. Has a 120v engine heater if you live in a cold climate. The only mechanical issue is the vacuum wiper motor has a small leak, it works but not very fast. Starts, runs, drives and stops great. Added 2 front seat belts, 3rd brake light on the rear package tray and daytime running lights. Comes with some spare parts, including speedo and gauges. Have owned it for about 6 years. Have most of the receipts for the work done since I've owned the car. Has a Clean and Clear Arizona Title, Box-C shows 000000 miles. Please ask any questions before bidding.
