This 1953 Chevy is a super cool car. It was owned by one family since the early 1960's. It has AWESOME patina. My plans were to lower it and put it on the road as is! However, I have found another project that I want so this has to go to fund help fund it. The car is very straight amd really very solid. The floors need patches but have had POR15 coated and are ready for repair. The very bottom of the rear quarters will need some work if you want to restore it. I again was just going to put signs in for the floors and leave the quarters alone. The drivers door was replaced at some time in the past and could use a new skin or just put on another door. But for a rat rod, it's fine. Check out the pictures and see how solid the inner fenders are!! Look down the sides!! Rockers are super!!! I put 54 Chevy taillights in only because I had some in good condition and I prefer them. The 6cyl has been converted to 12 volt and was last started a couple of years ago. The engine turns free, I just have not had time to get it running. It will need brakes of course. It has a 3spd on the column and the clutch feels good. Steering seems tight as well. This is a VERY good car to either start restoring or even better....slam and drive!!!!!!!!!!!! The car is listed locally, so if you are interested... make an offer!! Don't miss out!
