This 1997 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4 is a great running truck with only 97 thousand miles on it!! It scores way above average on the autocheck report since it only had one previous owner. It has a valid inspection sticker through 5/13, proving it passed emissions testing in NJ. I test drove this vehicle for about 65 miles and it drove fantastic. There was a brand new power steering pump put in this vehicle before we purchased it. The engine and transmission felt great, the truck shifts perfectly smooth through gears and the 4x4 is fully functional (SEE VIDEO). All interior and exterior lights and signals are WORKING, except for the left front fog light which needs a new bulb. All interior controls are fully funtional as well. This truck features power locks, windows and mirrors, cruise control, overhead compass/temp gauge, 4x4, ac/heat, cassette/am/fm, and much more all fully functional. The interior is in great shape for the year as you can see in the photos. No burnholes, tears or rips in the seats whatsoever, the carpets are in good condition and the interior smells great, certainly a non-smoker vehicle. The dash and door panels are in great shape with very little wear as you can see in the pictures. The rear seat is in great shape as well. There is a minor stain the the passenger carpet, but this vehicle does come with rubber floormats which are shown in the bed. There is a nice bedcap on the back which is in great condition. There is a rubber bedliner in the bed of the truck and the rear sliding glass windows are fully intact. The body is in great shape for the year as well. It has some dings on the hood which you can see in the photos or video. The lower side paneling has some rust on both sides and in the wheel wells, but NOT on the frame (see photos or video). There is some rusting on the rear shocks. There is a small bubbling spot near the gas cap as well. The front end looks fantastic (grill, headlights and front bumper are all in beautiful condition.) The rims are in great shape as well, very minimal blemishes. The tires are also in great shape too. The paint overall is in good condition, no real oxidation on the paint and no swirl marks whatsoever. There is a jack and wrench in the back seat as shown and a spare underneath as well. There is a $115 documentation fee, and if you live in NJ I am required to collect the appropriate sales tax. If you have a driver's license and insurance, I will even give you a temporary tag for $25.00 so you can drive it home. An out-of-state tag is good for 20 days, an NJ temp tag is good for 30 days. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs should you choose to ship your car to your location. We do not get involved in shipping whatsoever, but we will gladly comunicate with the drivers to ensure your vehicle is picked up as soon as possible. We accept C4sh, Credit or Debit cards (3% Bank Fee applies), or Cashiers Checks (Certified Bank Check - NOT personal checks) on all final balances when you arrive to pick up the vehicle. That's it.
