1986 Mercury Capri 5.0L 141,000 miles fuel injected 302 v8, t-5 5spd w/short shifter and brand new clutch, 8.8 rearend w/2.73 gear ratio. Motor is all stock with the exception of aftermarket headers and 2.25 exhaust and flowmasters and no cats. Rides on 1.5" Eibach lowering springs with 17" wheels 255/45/17 on the rear and 235/45/17 on front all of which are new. Interior is in excellent condition and the car is loaded, options include ps,pb,pw,pdl,tilt wheel, a/c, cruise, t-tops and even still has the original radio in it. Everything works as it should. Windows are tinted, the headliner is showing some age, but not terrible. The car has had one repaint that is around 10years old, not show quality paint by any means, it has a handful of chips in it, but is very presentable. All the doors close perfectly. T-Tops dont leak and its always stored inside. This is the last year for the capri and the only year it was fuel injected, these are the most desirable and getting hard to find in any condition, This is not a perfect car, but is very nice givin its age and milage, runs absolutaly perfect and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It does leave a small oil drip on the ground and has for years, nothing major about the size of a dime. the steering column has a little play in it side to side where the wheel tilts, again nothing major and an easy fix. PLEASE ask questions, I have tried to describe this as accuratly and honestly as possible, but I am human and may have missed a thing or two. I have the original headers, wheels, and shifter if you want them. No reserve, Thanks!!
