Bike was running 2011. Needed a valve job. But at the time I took bike to shop, I thought I would get some engine work done, i.e. Beef up the crank shaft, big bore engine, new carbs, etc. Basically, gain an extra 20 horsepower to "muscle" up bike. The shop gave me a rough estimated, they called and estimate was approx. $2000.00 more than I expected. I told them to stop where they were on the bike, I picked up bike and engine in boxes. Would do well if someone was mechanically incline, had the time and/or would be great for parts!! On Mar-07-12 at 08:18:37 PST, seller added the following information: Bike was running fine in 2011. Took it in for a basic valve job. Once I got bike to shop, I thought about getting my horsepower out of it. I ask for an estimate to machine crank shaft, race new carbs., big bore, etc. To give it my muscle. Shop gave me a rough estimate. Later, estimate was approx. $2000.00 more than I expected. As a result, I told them to stop where they were on the bike, I came over and picked up complete frame and engine in boxes. Would do well for someone mechanically incline, had the time and/or would be great for a project or part out.
