Vehicle Detail

1966 NOVA HARDTOP. FACTORY V-8 CAR. 393 STROKER MOTOR. TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION. NEW TWO STAGE BRIGHT RED PAINT THE CAR IS A POWER STEERING CAR. This is a factory V-8 hardtop car. It has a totally fresh machine shop built 393 stroker motor installed. The motor has new pistons, a scat stroker crank that is polished then balanced, rings, cam bearings, main and rod bearings, rebuilt rods, cam, new timing chain and gears. The assembly was then balanced. (Pictures included.) The heads were rebuilt and shimmed to the correct seat pressure. I installed a turbo 400 transmission to handle the added power. It is a unit designed to handle a 455 cu in motor. Headman headers were installed. Turbo mufflers with large dual 2 1/2 exhaust go all the way out the back. The seats are very nice, recovered in red and black cloth and leatherette material that coordinates with the exterior red of the car. When I purchased this car the vin tag was missing do to the car having been repainted. I contacted the STATE POLICE and had a correct vin identification done on sight The car checked out as correct. The secret numbers match the title which I also have in my possession. The car is legal in any state. The NOVA was professionally painted inside and out, using a two stage paint. This is a bright red car! It was a factory blue car. This car is very solid, the floors are in very good condition, as are the fenders, hood, trunk and top. I chose this NOVA to rebuild due to the very few areas of rust I was going to have to deal with. The Torque Thrust type wheels are in good condition, as are the raised white letter B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A tires (turned inside out). I have a new headliner being installed as I write this ad. (See picture.) The glass is all good, and windows work well. I wasn't planning on selling this car, but I am trying to finish a 55 tbird with a roller motor 302 for my wife; and it seems to be taking a lot more money than I expected to finish both correctly. This car will make a very quick, sharp looking driver, a car to keep and watch appreciate.
