1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40 with 27,591 Original Miles Up for auction is a very well preserved 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40. It has an amazing low 27,591 original miles. This FJ-40 was purchased brand new on October 29, 1969 by a cattle company. That is where it would spend the majority of its life, never leaving the beautiful green pastures that it called home. Recently, it was brought to New Mexico where a frame on restoration was performed by Classic 4x4 Co in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This shop specializes in FJ-40s and early Ford Broncos. The body was stripped to bare metal where there sat a completely rust free body that was solid as a rock. There was very minimal body work needed. And what little was done, was done to perfection. Several coats of urethane primer was applied before the original base coat red was applied. Then several hands of DuPont clear really make this Land Cruiser shine! The interior was redone to factory specs and the suspension is all new from ProComp which includes new leaf springs, shocks, bushings, and U-bolts. It has brand new MudTerrain tires, 31.10:50x15 on original factory wheels. The drive train is all original with the straight 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed transmission. There is absolutely no play in the steering column and goes through all the gears in a tight manner with no slop, which is very common on a low mileage vehicle. All the gauges are in proper working condition including lights and blinkers. It also comes with a Ramsey winch. Also available with this vehicle is the original service booklet and owners manual.
