Vehicle Detail
Here's is one for all the mopar lovers. When is the last time you saw one of these little beautys? The volare premier, with factory T-Tops, also called sun runner, and its brother the road runner were the top of the lineup. This was traded in to us for a 4x4 pickup. The owner claimed his mother got it from the original buyers in california, and brought it up to utah a short time back. Original paperwork in the glove box confirms his story. Basically a 2 owner car. After looking the car over thoroughly, I believe that the mileage is correct and original. It looks to have spent its life outside, with very little waxing. The paint is faded and will need redone, and the vinyl roof is starting to shrink in spots. Very little rust, very solid. Factory original, even down to the belts and hoses! It looks like all the glass is original as well, having the pentastar-ppg logo still visible. No evidence of any accidents or repairs. The interior supports the mileage claim, with very little if any wear on the seats, pedals, door panels, and carpet. The original hubcaps are supposed to be included, but havent got them yet. The wheels and 245\35\20 TOYO tires, are like new and were quite expensive. It has the 318 V-8 engine and smooth shifting 3 speed automatic trans. The engine is so quiet and smooth, that we didnt notice it was running when we were out looking at it. It has a small leak in the power steering pump that I will try to repair. Other than that, no issues. Everything works as it should. Wipers, washers, horn, all lights, even the turn indicators on the fenders are fully functional. Factory AM-FM 8 track radio (dont have an 8 track to try the tape player) still works as well. Original owners manual and papers. With a little research we found that there were only about 2k of these cars made with T-Tops, which is making it extremely rare. Try and find another one. Runs and drives great. Very smooth and quiet. The car is being sold as-is where-is, but will assist getting it to you if we can. 0 feedback bidders need to call so we know they understand ebay rules and policies. Please call John or Connie at 435-884-1040 with any ?? or email of course. Thanks, and dont miss out on this great little survivor. On Mar-08-12 at 14:44:20 PST, seller added the following information: Heres some pics of underneath.
