I bought the car 2.5 years ago with 51,600 miles. • Two previous owners were both in south. Car has spent a majority of it's life in the south. • The exterior is in great shape with no rust. It has some very minor, truly unnoticeable blemishes. • Interior is in good condition. No tears or problems exist. I have thought a few times about updating/upgrading the seats but ultimately it is not needed and I could not bring myself to remove the original seats. • The car drives, steers, brakes very well. The oil pressure is very good and the car does not get hot even on very hot days. The carb is a Weber downdraft model. It is very good but can run a little rich when car first starts. I had considered rebuilding it but after I read up on it, realized it was performing as it should. The engine was recently rebuilt at 48k miles. This included: • cylinders rebored • engine tuned • carb rebuilt and tuned • horsepower testing • new tires • new muffler • CD radio installed • new carpet including trunk • new tires including a full spare I have done the following to the car: • replaced the fuel tank • replaced fuel pump • complete tune up including new spark plugs, fuel pump, air filter, transmission oil changed • new battery • new headlights • sprayed rubber coating on the underside of car for weather proofing (car has not been driven in rain or winter - I thought it would be at the time) • built a spare emergency auxiliary fuel pump, which has not been used • installed 3 point seat belts • new windshield wipers • oil changed annually Included with the car: • soft top - not the original - previous owner replaced but I do not know how old it is • hard top pictured is not included - sold over the winter • original tool kit • seat towels • original documentation including window sticker, manual, brochure • all maintenance records for life of car • spare tire, toolkit and emergency/first aid kit • Nelson cover which is an accessory I bought online that sits where the tonneau cover would normally go. The purpose is to provide a higher, brighter brake light and a windscreen.
