Vehicle Detail
Here it is, a classic 1957 Chevy Bel-Air two door hardtop, 350 V-8, automatic transmission 74,214 original miles, power steering and power brakes, car looks good, runs even better but does need restoration. Original color was black but car was painted 64' Chevelle Blue. Most of the glass will need to be replaced, has the original seats but they have been covered in leather. It is possible the original interior could be underneathc as we've never bothered to look. Car also needs new door panels, new floor panels and minor body work in a couple areas (see photos). 74,214 Original Miles Runs and Drives excellent Power steering and power brakes Classic 1957 Chevy Bel-Air I am listing this car for my step-dad and mother who are retiring and downsizing. Please email me so I can put you in direct contact with my step-dad to answer further questions. Car is also being listed locally (Kansas City, MO) and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please check our other listings, we also have a 1957 Ford Skyline Retractable hardtop and 24' H&H enclosed trailer for sale. We will consider packaging the trailer and car together, please inquire. Thank you for looking and be sure the thank our troops when you see them!!On Mar-03-12 at 07:42:07 PST, seller added the following information: Wanted to answer a few questions which have been posed. The floor pans are not rusted all the way through that we can tell, there is a considerable amount of surface rust however. The trunk and rear pans have been replaced by the previous owner but the work wasn't of the highest quality and to be done proper it should be redone. We have owned the car since 1991. All the gauges work. The motor was rebuilt by the previous owner but it does not burn or leak any oil. As stated in the description, the car runs and drives excellent. The original door panels are included in the sale. Again, this car is for sale locally and we do reserve the right to end the auction early. On Mar-04-12 at 16:07:51 PST, seller added the following information: Answering a few more posed questions: We are the third owners of this car, it was purchased in 1991 from the second owner. Paint code: 7334, Style: 7-10870, Trim: 070, another number which is hard to read description: 3731B Transmission works great, brakes are in good condition and car stops fine. AGAIN car runs and drives excellent!!! The reserve has been met on this car and it is going to sell. This car was driven yesterday up and down the highway (saturday drive) at 70 mph for over 100 miles with no issues. Thanks for looking!! Please email with any other questions.
