Up for auction is a 2006 Cadillac DTS Sedan - Performance Package. We are the second owner of the vehicle and we put 130K highway miles on it in the 2 years we have owned it. It has spent its time with us on the highway taking Doctors to and from Tampa to Orlando every day for our limousine company We just put on four new DTS sedans so this one has to go. It has 185K miles on it and it drives and the interior and exterior body looks more like it has 18,500 miles. It is in excellent condition as the pictures show. this DTS has every amenity Cadillac offered including; premium leather, satelite capable stereo with Bose surround speakers. power sunroof, heated and cooled seats, 305HP Northstar engine and alloy wheels. Exterior -Shows like new with no after market paint work- all factory and shines excellent. No dings, no dents, no damage of any kind. Looks brand new. The only issue I noticed was the headlight plastic is faded from the sun and pictures show that. The rest of the exterior is perfect and like new. The finish on this car looks as good or even better than the 2011's we just added to the fleet. Alloy wheels are like new with no scratches or road rash. Tires are at about 80%. they are Continental Radials just what the factory uses. Interior- The interior looks like new. No real wear of any kind. Dash has no cracks, carpet and mats are like new with no rips or holes or stains. The black leather is soft, supple with no rips, tears or discoloration. The headliner is perfect and all door panels are like new. All features and functions work perfectly. Engine and Transmission - We are a limousine company, we have an ASE certified mechanic who insists we use synthetic oil and he still changes the oil every 5000 miles. Every function in the drive train is functioning fine and the service history shows no mechanical failures beyond replacing a throttle position sensor. We have also replaced the motor mounts with the new metal shielded mounts because EVERY cadillac DTS has mount issues. They were plastic and they snap when hot on jump starts. We got 100 new mounts from Cadillac with an improved shield and we replaced all of them. The AC works perfectly, the transmission shifts fine there are no warning lights on the dash. If you know Cadillac you know the North Star Engine is awesome and if cared for will go 300K miles or more easily. The reserve on this vehicle is the same as the buy it now because we want to be fair and sell it low because it is a high miles car. We are not a dealer, if you want a certified used Cadillac with a warranty you can buy this same car from a dealer with lower miles for $18K. The reserve is less than half that on this car.
