Vehicle Detail

VIN CCE332Z135937 Engine V8 400 Standard Automatic Transmission Body tag reads Model #: CE 31403 Title is CLEAR For sale is a 1972 very nice Chevrolet Cheyenne Pickup truck with "Servis" (Utility box manufacturer) professional utility box. The truck overall is in very good condition and the utility box is clean and in very good condition. The truck was used by a museum as a show and event vehicle and has had light use. There were logo and name decals on the truck that have been recently removed and some of the areas where the stickers were show up lightly. The truck was repainted at least 10 years ago; the paint color “Medium Bronze (Paint # 522)” and was done very nicely. The paint is scraped and chipping at the of bottom of the service box cargo doors from use. There is a dent on the rear top right of service box by marker light. Also there's a split in paint on roof. The glass in front of the Servis box (by cab rear window) is cracked. There are no hubcaps. The "wood-grained" panels on the interior doors are in very good condition. The plastic on the door panels behind the wood-graned panels appear to have been painted over and some paint is chipped off (see photo). Carpet floor mats are not original, but look good except the passenger side where there is a discolored spot shown in the photographs. Floor mat condition is good. The seat has been recovered and is also in good condition. The steering wheel, dash and all instruments are excellent condition. Original engine appears to have been replaced with a factory "crate" motor (#T01I7TKX). Since the restoration was completed sometime around 2000 we are not sure how many miles are on the current engine. There have not been very many miles put on the truck since 2005 when it was donated to the museum. The engine condition is good and runs smoothly. The transmission shifts well under power. The truck has been sitting for a while so it may need a good tune-up to get driving smoothly. We have worked on the Carburetor in the past which has been problematic. The car is currently licensed with a collector plate in Washington State. Car is sold AS IS, no guarantee or return. Please contact me if you have questions before you bid, but I cannot guarantee a timely reply when messages are sent the last 24 hours of sale (I will try however). The truck can be viewed during week days between 10-5 by appointment. There is no BUY IT NOW price and we can NOT take in TRADES; car is sold through auction bids only. No offers will be accepted outside the bidding process, so if you want the vehicle, please place a bid. Terms and Fees: The vehicle can be viewed locally before the end of auction. Once you have won the auction, you have agreed to purchase the vehicle. Please use “CONTACT SELLER” email to set up an appointment to view the vehicle before close of auction at set times during the week. Pickup and Shipping: Buyer is responsible to arrange for vehicle pickup, and pay for transportation or shipping to buyer’s location. We do not deliver. We cannot store the vehicle beyond two weeks of close of sale. Sellers Payment Instructions A deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of end of auction. Payment in full must be completed before the vehicle can be picked up or shipped. The deposit will not be returned.
