This Fury was purchased by a US airman and was used for a couple of years as personal transportation while he was stationed at the Redstone Arsinal in Alabama. He later transferred the car to his aunt who drove the car until 1980 when it was parked on her carport. She later transferred the car to another nephew who has garaged the car since 2005. It has not been started since 1980 to the best of our knowledge. The body is is reasonable shape for a care of this vintage. There is some superficial rust and the trunk floor has been patched with polyester resin and fiberglass. Otherwise the floor pans are in good shape. There is a hole in the gas tank. The defects are documented at (URL, message me for details as Ebay will not allow me to include the link here.) Its original color was white on steel blue and it was subsequently repainted white on teal. With the exception of the time the car was in Alabama at Redstone, it has been used and/or stored in Florida. The carburator has been removed but never it was never disasembled and in included with the sale as is a plastic gas tank and sending unit. I am not certain that the plastic tank would be suitable, but it was essentially a gift. It is included in the sale. The interior is in reasonable shape; the dashboard and gauges are in good shape. There are no cracks in the dashboard. The cloth head liner is in excellent shape. Obviously, we must sell this car as-is where-is and it will require transportation to your location within 10 days of completion of the sale. It may be inspected in Florida and is located within 6 miles of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Please give me 24 hours notice prior to inspection either by you or by a third-party inspector since city code requires we keep the car in the garage because it does not have a current tag. There is a discrepancy between the odometer reading and the title that is readily explained. Note that the car appears to list to its right. This is not a suspension issue but reflects the wrong size tire on the right side. Obviously, it will need new tires if you plan to drive the car. The car has the V8 318 engine. Payment: A non-refundable deposit made via PayPal of $200.00 is due within 48 hours of winning the bid. Buyers may inspect the car in person prior to completing the purchase. If, upon inspection, the buyer wishes not to complete the transaction the deposit WILL NOT be returned and the item will be relisted. Although I have no idea of your skill level, this car is almost certainly rebuildable by a knowlegable person. Although a coupe, this vehicle is NOT a convertable and if the buyer is looking for a parts car for a convertible she or he alone is responsible for determining whether the car is suitable for that purpose.
