Up for auction is my 1983 Porsche 944. 4 cylinder, 2.5 Liter, Fuel Injected, Bosch Motronic Ignition. Sable brown metallic. VIN WP0AA0948DN460460 Odometer: 35800 + 200,000. I purchased this car in April 1988. I've made many upgrades to the car over the years. What's right with it: - New (not rebuilt) short block in 2006 (40,000 on new motor) 944S2 transaxle with LSD Factory Recaro leather sport seats (from '86 Turbo) Personal Fittipaldi Steering wheel w/ 3/4” extension Autothority chip installed by/at Authority (currently set to oem spec) MSDS exhaust header A Arms and hubs from 968 Trailing arms from 968 Torsion bars from '89 Turbo Half shafts from '87 turbo H&R variable rate coil springs (195 – 230#) Factory Brembo 4 pot calipers (from 968) Spring centered clutch plate Front sway bar from 89 Turbo (26 mm) Koni yellow all around Wheels are 16” 7's and 8's from 968 Whats' wrong with it: _ Rear hatch glass separated from frame between mounts _ paint chips on nose and side mirrors as well as other places _ could use paint _ Stereo and clock and dome light inoperative (Fuse I think) _ Heater; you have to shut it off at the heater control valve _ Turn signal don't always turn off automatically _ Dash has cracks Note: AutoChek shows this as a one owner car; i bought it used; I believe I'm the 3rd owner.
