Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1937 Ford pickup. It is on a homemade frame out of 2 x 4 inch mild steel. The truck cab has been channelled 6 inches and the front has been "z'd" 4 inches. It has a 1990 305 V8 motor and a 1985 350 turbo automatic transmission. The rear end is out of a 1998 S-10 Blazer. The front end is a straight axle out of a 48 ford car with all new spring and perch and an ECI brake kit. With the vega steering box it turns super easily. This truck has 4 wheel disc brakes. All the gauges and lights work. All new wiring and plumbing, new gauges, a new homemade bed with wood floor. The gas tank is a steel 14 gallon tank with a functioning fuel gauge. The wheels are 15 X 7 and 15 X 12 chrome reverse. The tires are 31 X 12.50 X 15 Mickey Thompson. It has camaro seats. It has many other new parts too numerous to list. It runs strong and stops well. It drives straight down the road with no problems. The only thing that I know that is needs is a passenger side door glass. This is a very solid truck as in no rust!! The doors open and close very well. I am selling this truck for my brother. My husband built this truck. So if you have any questions call him (Alan) at 573-721-2715. Truck is sold AS IS WHERE IS. Shipping is responsibilty of the winner. I am trying to portray this car honestly. I don't have daily access to the internet so call if you want immediate answers and don't forget to check out my other auctions. The reserve has been lowered but do not ask what it is. Last time I listed this truck I had several questions about if this truck would make a long trip. I am sure it would although in the winter with no heat and a window out I wonder why anyone would. Yes the 1932 Ford Roadster is for sale as well. Thanks and happy bidding!
