1997 Chevy 1500 Low-Rider, Lowered and Customized!! This beauty turns heads everywhere u go!! This truck books for over $5800 and that doesnt include the rebuilt engine nor the new racing transmission, nor the lowering and customization. For sale is one of my favorite toys. A 97 Chevy that has been lowered and customized. We bought it as a project car. It had already been lowered b4 we purchased it.This thing attracts attention everywhere you go. The motor is the 4.3 v6 but far from stock. Cylinder heads have been massaged and opened, has a mild camshaft, and the block is punched .040 over. Makes more power than most STOCK 350's. The transmission was put in new about 6 months ago. it can switch to go from street to track mode on the fly. Track mode is extremely aggressive and will snap your neck back like an old school muscle car. Its wasfully tuned by Bullydog. Carcraft front bumber. Streetscene roll pan. Still has class 3 towing hitch. It is a 97 regular cab with a bench seat we planned to put buckets with a console in but hard times hit sooner. the engine was rebuit bout 1.5 years ago and only has approx 24k on engine and a new transmission 6 months ago. I gave it to my daughter but she is arfaid to drive it... so it must go. It has a tuner with cd and factory speakers, i can include a virtual reality 250watt amp and a 10" pioneer sub in box for the back behind seat. On this truck there are a few cosmetic flaws to the body/paint scratches and a chip behind passengers front tire and tailgate has a dent. since it has been in storage for several months and the fuel wasnt drained, it was running rough when given gas, idlle and full throttle ran great, i drove it for about a week and it has begun to run properly but it could use a tune up i have drained fuel and replaced it, i put a new starter on it last week. it starts and idles perfect but when i first took it outta srtorage to drive it, it began to miss alittle right b4 it switched to a higher gear, the longer as i drove it the smoother it ran, but u stomp it dont miss a lick. i am sure a minor tune up, change fuel filter ect will do wonders. It hasbeen a solid and dependable truck, starts everytime and gets u there and back plus if u get a wild street floor it and get sideways. lol and suprisingly get pretty good gas milage as long as u keep foot out of the pedal lol. Approximately 24 mpg combination street and highway.. it rides smooth not like a log wagon as some low riders do. i am sure the winner will be pleased with the vehicle. As far as the vehicle history report 2 issues forund an accident reported, this occured before i owned vehicle and was tld that it was a minor fender bender, and there is no lein against vehicle it has a clear title.
