Up for auction is my tastefully upgraded 1998 Chevrolet Corvette C5. This sports car has been very well cared for and is in great condition. Vehicle has been garage kept and is smoke free. All maintainence and upgrades have been performed by a GM Master Certified Technician who specializes in LS-x series cars/motors (no expense spared here). Always ran with Premium fuel, Chevron Techron additives (important for Corvettes - do your research) and Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil. This corvette is daily driven throughout the warmer months of the year (mostly highway to and from the office) and garaged during the inclement weather months. It is originally a Southern Car as I purchased it from Texas, so it has never seen snow or salt on roadways (no rust, etc). As seen in the pictures included, the exterior of the vehicle is in VERY good condition for the age/mileage of the car. There are very few blemishes, if any really. No "door dings", dents, abnormal scratches, etc. You would be hard pressed to find a rock chip or 2 on the front of the vehicle. With a good buff and wax, I believe it would prove to be in beautiful condition. Anyone unfamliar with Corvette body styles almost always assumes the car is new and are very surprised to learn it is over 10 years old. I estimate the exterior condition to be a 9/10 with minimal flaws. Overall, the interior is in good condition, with the exception of the typical wear found on the Corvette driver's seat bolster from getting in and out of the vehicle. All carpets are clean with no noticable staining on driver/passenger side, as well as in the trunk area. Rear Cargo net and also cargo cover are included with the sale of this Corvette. Interior condition is a 8/10 with the only noticable imperfection being the normal wear on driver seat leather. Some of the upgrades include the following: B&B (Billy Boat) Bullet Cat Back Exhaust, Long Tube Headers and X-Pipe - This car is NOT quiet. It will turn heads anywhere you go. You WILL be noticed. K&N FIPK2 Ram Air Induction (increased hwy mpg to ~26avg) New Spark Plugs / Wires Aftermarket Black Corvette C6 z06 wheels (18" front , 19" rear) - Custom Red Lip on wheels (can be removed by new owner if prefer all black look) Nitto Invo Tires Less than 1 year old - Front are 275/35/18 and Rear are 305/30/19 - No rubbing and tires look and feel GREAT on the car Red z06 Painted Corvette Brake Calipers Full Electronically Adjustable Ride Control Suspension (F55) - Can choose between "sport", "performance" and "touring" settings Car has been lowered on factory bolts (can be easily changed back to factory ride height if new owner chooses) Pioneer DEH-P8300 CD/MP3/USB Player - Front USB port can charge iPhone/iPod, play songs and also link to Pandora 2 Roofs can Come with the car - Factory Black Roof (which is what i've always had on the car) and also the Glass Targa top as well. Plexi has the typical spider cracking from deterioration due to age I do have most of the factory parts that were replaced with these upgrades, if the purchaser wishes to have those as well (factory headers, x-pipe, o2 sensors, factory air box/filter, Bose CD Changer, etc). I also have the factory OEM wheels with Tire Pressure Monitor Stems and nearly new tires that may be included for the right price as well. This corvette was completely stock when I purchased it, so all upgrades have been performed over the past couple of years by me. I also have most (if not all) of the receipts for these as well. Overall, this Corvette is truly a head turning sports car, that with the lowered stance and performance upgrades, drives and performs like a Corvette should from the factory. It now has a full header and X-Pipe set up. Therefore, it sounds slightly more aggressive than in this video. However, this will give you a baseline as to what you can expect.
