You are bidding on a very clean 1982 Alfa Romeo GTV6. Many of us first remember seeing this car in the James Bond movie Octopussy. The Balocco edition (named after the Balocco test track in Italy) is one of the most sought after models. This car is # 51 of 350 EVER made!!! With it's 2.5L V6 engine, Bosch fuel injection system, torsion bar front suspension and rear mounted gear box, it offers great great weight disribution (an almost perfect 50/50), great acceleration, great cornering and awesome stopping power courtesy of it's Brembo brakes. It has brand new shocks all the way around. It has a form and sporty ride. The first owner was a couple in northern California. The second owner was their Alfa Romeo mechanic. This car is in incredible shape. The exterior is in good shape. It does have a minor cosmetic crack on the front driver side fender. This car has not been involved in any accidents. It has a clean and straight body with no rust. It was always garaged and the Emerald green paint is in good condition. This car also has H4 European headlights. All plastic trims, bumper pieces and molds have been reconditioned and are still a nice deep black color. New seals all around front and rear windshield. The engine is in great shape also. It has 117k miles on it. No major leaks. New soundproofing with Alfa logo installed on the hood. This car is all original except the paint, headers, new starter, new alternator, plugs and wires and a racing alloy coolant reservoir. Radiator has been re-cored. Car runs cool. No overheating issues. New high flow catalytic converter was installed so that it would pass a smog test. ANSA exhaust system was added for a better air flow and an incredible sound. It sounds like a true italian car. Brakes were serviced recently. About 400 miles since the new brakes and fluid. The car comes with the original 15" campagnolo wheels (a true rarity) with almost brand new tires. Wheels are also in good condition. Comes with tuner lug nuts and wheel lock. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Cluth was replaced 15k miles ago. Interior is in great shape. Dashboard is in almost perfect condition and contains all vents. Deep dish Nardi steering wheel was installed 300 miles ago as was a black leather with red stitching MOMO shifting knob. All instruments and gauges work properly. This car has power windows and power mirrors. Alpine head mp3 unit with speakers all around. Brand new carpeting (Black) and new Alfa Romeo floor mats. The leather seats are in great condition. (SEE PICTURES). A new black leather headliner was also installed. Sunroof works perfectly. This is a non-smokers car. Center console is in good shape also.
