Vehicle Detail
My wife and I are trying to get some money together to buy a house so I'm reluctantly selling my Grandville. Its a nice old car and a good driver in pretty good condition. It has a power top that works and power windows that work just fine as well. It has the 455 V8 which is a very good running motor with a lot of power. The convertible top is in decent shape but has a couple small rips in it; it does need to be replaced but it is in useable condtion. The interior needs some work as well the seats need reupholstered and the carpet needs to be replaced both of these items are original to the car so they are pretty old and show the wear associated with a 40 year old car. I had it painted about 5 years ago and I keep it covered so the paint still looks good; the chrome bumpers are decent but need to be rechromed. I'm not sure what all to say ask as many questions as you want and I will answer honestly; I think its a nice car that needs some attention to be a great car. I frequently drive it when the weather is nice and it runs well. It feels pretty cool to drop the top in this thing and go for a cruise. On Feb-24-12 at 17:06:41 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention when I posted this add the odometer reads 20 some thousand but I'm certain its flipped over so its more like 120,000 miles on it. I can't be certain that it has only rolled over once but by judging the condition of the car when I got it and how it runs I thinks its just 120K not 220k. I can't emphasize this enough; the car isn't perfect by any means but for a 40 year old car I think its very solid. There are no dents or scratches there is some pitting on the chrome in places but overall still pretty good. To me the main thing this car needs is the interior redone and a new top and then I think you have a pretty nice cruiser. On Feb-25-12 at 08:33:12 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry to edit this again I'm just trying to be as honest as possible and include everything. I took the car for a ride today and noticed the odometer reads 37053 (so that means 137053) so its more than I posted above. Also I have the origial air cleaner in the trunk along with the parade cover for the convertible top when you put it down. I also have a car cover from California Car Covers that was like 300 new that I will sell to the winning bidder for an addition $100. I can't think of anything else so this should be the last edit. Like I said ask as many questions as you want and I will answer to the best of my ability. I'm really gonna miss this car its unique; you just dont see them often. On Feb-29-12 at 14:33:24 PST, seller added the following information: Posted some pictures of the passenger side as requested and shots of the wheel well area to confirm no rust. Can't beleive I forgot to post pictures of the other side.
