1965 Mercury Montclair Breezeway back window. 33,000 original miles from Florida. Stored in a cellar for 31 years. 390 4V engine,white exterior, teal interior, all original car including original spare. Purchased from 91 year old man who brought car back from Florida in 1975. Car is in good overall condition with surface rust and dented (not bad) left passenger side door. Car starts and the Engine runs strong with no knocks, noises etc. The transmission shifts easily with no klunks, slips or problems. Needs new brakes but I have all new parts> wheel cylinders, inner and outer bearings, drums, shoes, hard ware kits etc. Mufflers need replacement but I have two NOS ones. Interior is excellent to near mint with one small hole (one inch) in headliner. Headliner is very good. Doors have corner rust that will have to be addressed in the future. Original paint. Car was in national Mercury magazine including pictured of engine featured inside of front cover. Engine runs strong and transmision shifts correctly with no problems (automatic). Driver side remote control mirror is broken ( new replacement $108). Wipers, lights,windows work. Back window (Electric does not work. It could be as simple as a fuse. Motor for window is like new). New NOS neutral safety switch installed but may need adjustment. A decent, original car that needs to be back on the road and used. Tires hold air but are weathered and need replacement. Extra parts go with car.
