Here is a little info about myself, and my passion for the Ford SHO. I have personally owned 7 sho’s in my life. I have been a huge fan of these cars dating way back when my father had one when I was the age of 20. I know the mechanics of these cars inside and out, as my father and I gutted one inside and out and made it a track car, and raced it at our local race track “Langley Speedway” located in Hampton Virginia. These cars produce an amazing 220HP and 200ft-lbs torque, with 145 mph at the top end and 0-60 mph in only 6.6 seconds. Most 2012 2.0-liter turbo cars today don’t even compare. These cars have not been abused in any fashion. But I can promise you that most locals around here do not bother toying with me. There is no feeling like having a 5.0 mustang, or a modified civic pull up next to you not even thinking that you’re about to try and test them. You beep your horn, They look over at u like “are you kidding me”… 90% of the time they have no clue what type of engine that you have under the hood. (And then they see 4 Doors) So with that said, yes I’ve smoked a many modified Honda civic, BMW 3 series, Audi’s, and a few mustangs with my mildly modified 3.0L Yamaha 220+ Japan engine in an American 4 door family car. After 4000 RPM the butterfly’s completely open, and that’s it *****as you see your fellow opponent in the rearview. As many of you know, you can find these cars on Ebay all the time that have been rung through the ringer. Both these cars are rare finds, and there is no rust ANYWHERE! I currently own two Ford SHO’s, ( 1989 RED, and a 1995 WHITE) the first year that they were made, and the last year of the 3.0 V6, other than the new 2011 SHO’s witch in my eyes are garbage. Almost brought one, but I couldn’t justify paying $40K for it. This auction is for the 1995, but if you would like both, or the 89 instead just email me. These are my babies, and the ONLY reason for the sale of them is to downsize my fleet of toys. I have a new project on my plate, so I have to downsize before another project starts. They are kept covered in my garage, never seen rain or snow~ Again NO rust. They are not daily drivers, so the miles will not increase. I have entered them in local shows, and I have won best in class several times. Ok now for the fun part. I have been an Ebay member for over 6 years. The car is mostly stock with the exception of a upgraded ( Clutch masters Stage 1 Clutch ), and Clutch Masters 8LB Aluminum flywheel that cost $1,000, and another $600 to have professional installed. This upgraded system adds roughly a 20HP gain making this a 240HP SHO, as well as improving the overall weight, and handling of the car. Those knowing these cars understand the cheapest mod performance wise; is to shed some of the cars weight. Even though the car hasn’t reached 60K miles, I just completed the FULL 60K scheduled maintenance needed on these engines. I have spent over $3,500.00 in new parts alone, plus another $1,000.00 in labor cost. I have ALL receipts!!!!!! The 95 is super white in color. The car also has an aftermarket radio, and CD player installed. I would rate the overall outside condition of the car a 9! The car has no dents, nor major scratches. If it were showroom condition I would list it as a 10! The interior in my opinion is a 9.5! No rips in the seats, everything functions as it should. Power seats work correctly, No stains, no rock chips in the windows, AC blows supper cold…Heat will cook you. This helps with cold starts. The stock only produces 110 amps. · The radiator was completely flushed and cleaned. Has new coolant. This should be completed yearly due to these cars having an aluminum block. Ok now to talk about the red one. Other than it being a 1989, it has a bit more modifications done to her than the white car. Currently the body has 126,000 miles on her. The trans was completely rebuilt about a year ago. The engine was pulled out of the car when this was completed. A full 60K maintenance was performed on the engine at 120K. This is the (2) 60 performed on this car. This car has a ( Clutch Masters Stage 3 ) As well as the ( Clutch Masters Aluminum Flywheel) the clutch was upgraded to the 9.75 diameter over the standard stock size. When this was done the throw-out bearing was replaced, as well as was the rear main seal! The 89 SHO is currently pushing 260HP. I have not had this on a dyno, but I have a friend with a 91 SHO with similar add ons, and we ride side by side. His car was on a dyno …. Producing, 260HP. Please note I removed the stock AC unit out of this car to free up weight, and add about an extra 8HP. I made a custom bracket where is AC use to fit. This car has a custom Alpine radio, as well as ALL new Eclipse Point Source speakers installed. I had thought about adding an Air box system, as well as changing to an upgraded mass airflow sensor… But I am completely happy with both of their current performance stance. I am asking $6,000.00 for each car. If the auction reaches this amount I will add a $700.00 complete break kit including Braided SS brake hose set, along with matching Slotted/Drilled Brakes, and Pads.
