Vehicle Detail

***NO RESERVE!*** Title ready! I am an honest eBay member and am proud to be a part of a great community of buyers and sellers. Please email if you would like a picture taken and sent to you of a specific detail, or if you have any further questions. If you would like to ask questions via telephone, send an email and I will provide you with a contact number. I am a private seller and therefore this vehicle does not include a warranty or guarantee; I will be as specific as I can with the description below: For sale, second owner: 2008 Jeep Wrangler X, 2 door, 39,000 miles (mostly highway miles), soft top, color is white with gray and black interior, 4x4, 4 wheel drive, 6 speed manual transmission (an extra speed for even better gas mileage!), brand new tires, manual doors/locks/seats, newer spare tire on the back, CD player/AM-FM stereo AUX cable for your iPod/music device, surround speakers (great sound!), ABS brakes, driver and passenger airbag, tilt wheel, bucket seats, electric outlet, cup holders in front and back. Smiley decals on the headlights that can be easily removed. No rust or damage from rust. No burns or holes, tears, or rips. Soft top has no holes or tears. Smoke-free owner. Garage kept since second owner bought. Drives like new. Interior/exterior in excellent shape with the exception of the driver's door and lower frame near the door and other minor defects, which is explained below. This auction includes the Jeep, Jeep title, one key (opens all locks), original owner's manual with hunter green cloth case, paperwork for new tires, a rebuilt from salvage disclosure (DMV requirement), and a bill of sale from the owner. And, as an added bonus, the hunter green Jeep baseball cap pictured is also included. We have had so much fun owning this Jeep, including taking the top down and driving during the summer, but we need something bigger to drive a growing family. The next owner is sure to love this vehicle as much as I have. History of this Jeep: This Jeep was in an accident in late 2009/early 2010 with its first owner. It was hit on the driver's side. First owner had full coverage, and decided it was better worth junking out with insurance company and finding a new vehicle. It was then auctioned to a dealer in South Dakota, with a salvaged title. In the early summer of 2010 we drove all the way to South Dakota and purchased it. Other than a broken windshield, a missing driver's side mirror, and the damage to the door and lower frame, there was NOTHING wrong with this Jeep--it didn't even need an alignment! It was in perfect running condition with 14,500 miles. We drove it all the way home with NO ISSUES--it drove (and still drives) like brand new. After getting it road worthy and stamped by state patrol--new driver's mirror, new windshield; we pounded out some damage to the driver's door and welded a piece of metal to the lower frame and painted white with color match paint--we obtained a rebuilt from salvage title. It is driveable, road-worthy and ready for its next owner. The driver's door opens and closes and the window rolls up and down, even with the damage. I do not know or have an estimate of how much it would cost to have this Jeep professionally repaired by a body mechanic. Any problems/issues with the Jeep? I will be as specific as I possibly can: *Driver's side door is damaged, along with damage on the driver's door bottom frame and around the bottom frame (which has been welded with a new piece of metal and painted) * Driver's side window squeaks a bit when you roll it up and down; this has to do with the indent in the door, and it sometimes has issues with being unlocked with the key; however, it does lock * Small scuff on the back window on the plastic soft cover, about three inches long, and less than a quarter inch wide (small, but noticeable). The rest of the soft top is in like new condition. * Two large rock chips about a half inch around on the new windshield, near the passenger's side on the far upper right, which does not obstruct view (I live in Colorado, so unfortunately, rock chips are hard to avoid while driving.) * There are some very small but hardly noticeable dings in the passenger's door and below the passenger's door on the lower frame * The interior of the driver's side sustained very little damage upon impact from the accident; however, if you look closely, you can see that the console is missing a small piece from the left of the dashboard (near the door--not noticeable) * Frame is pushed in a bit on driver's side near and below door from the impact. If you need more pictures, please request, and I can send as well. You could buy this at its bargain price (several thousand less than a dealer or private owner would sell) and fix it up to be your dream Jeep. Take the doors off and put soft doors or half doors on. So what if there is damage that is on the exterior--go off-roading a few times, and the body and frame will likely get bumped and bent anyway. Many first-time Jeep (or veteran) owners repaint, change the doors, put additional lights/decals/accessories on their new Jeeps. Please note that, even though this is a fairly new Jeep, it was in an accident with its first owner and therefore, it has its wear on the outside cosmetically from being hit on the driver's side--yes, the driver's door and Jeep frame have some damage, but this Jeep is well worth it, and is priced far below what you would pay for a Jeep like this off a dealer's lot, or even a private seller. If you are looking for a Jeep that is like new all on the outside, you might want to bid on another Jeep, but you'll likely pay several thousand more dollars. I saved myself thousands by buying salvage, and so can you. Also please note, winning bidder, you may have up to an additional 300 miles on the odometer, depending on the completion of the sale and the day of pickup. Please email with any questions, and thank you for looking!
