Vehicle Detail
No reserve auction! High bid takes this good-running 1995 Toyota 4runner. It’s located about an hour east of Sacramento California. It has the 3.0 liter V6 engine and automatic transmission. This is a two-wheel-drive model, not a 4x4. Odometer says almost 126,000 miles, but the speedometer cable was broken for a few months. (It’s fixed now.) NEW TIMING BELT AND WATER PUMP. Clean, clear Nevada title in my name. Passed California smog on February 16, 2012. (Smog cert is good for 90 days.) Oil and oil filter were changed last week. Gray cloth interior. Power : steering, brakes, door locks, windows. Sunroof, cruise control, rear heater, tilt steering wheel. Running boards, factory alloy wheels, and chrome bumpers. There’s seatbelts for 3 in the back seat, and the rear seats fold down to give you all kinds of cargo room. This gets 16-18 mpg around town, and 20-22 mpg on the freeway. Overall, this is a great vehicle! But it’s 16 years-old, which means it has a number of imperfections. The front seats are pretty rough, and there’s flaws in the carpet. Beside the usual scratches and dents, there is some paint peeling off the hood, fender, and passenger door. Rear window wiper doesn’t stop in the right place, and when it’s REALLY cold in the morning the power steering is noisy for a few minutes. (Then it’s fine for the rest of the day.) There’s no stereo. It has 4 matching Michelin tires; 3 are excellent, but one has worn unevenly. Air conditioning will need to be recharged. There appears to be a small oil leak; it leaves several drips each time you park. Dash is cracked in several places. But if you just need roomy, dependable transportation, then this is an excellent candidate. Call / text / email Morgan at 925-788-9991 for more info. (Bay area cell, but I live near Placerville, CA.) I am happy to show the vehicle and answer any questions. Thanks for looking! Rear heater – works good Rear cargo area, seats “down” Headliner is in good condition, and all dome lights work. Power sunroof works. 3.0 liter V6 engine – new timing belt, water pump, and recent oil change. Spare tire – holds air / doesn’t leak 3 of the 4 Michelin tires are excellent; one will need to be replaced in a few months. Paint is faded and peeling on top of passenger side front fender. Paint is faded and peeling on top of passenger front door. Paint is peeling in 4 or 5 spots on the hood. On Feb-24-12 at 16:59:52 PST, seller added the following information: A little update... on a positive note, even though this vehicle doesn't have a stereo, it still has a pair of fairly nice Pioneer speakers installed up front. And, the original owners manual is still in the glove box! On a not-so-positive note, I described the oil leak as a few drops when you parked. That's true at first, but after it's been parked a while, the stain is about the size of a fist. I have been driving the 4runner every day since listing it, and the odometer now reads 126,119 miles. It will probably have another 30 or 40 miles on it when the auction ends. Another positive: the 4runner will be delivered with a FULL tank of fuel!
