Here is the Data plate info. · 8 1968 · T Built in Metuchen · 02 Mustang fastback · J 302-4V · 54,177th ford vehicle scheduled for production at Metuchen · 63B Mustang Fastback · D Acapulco Blue Paint · 6B Blue Decor Bucket Seats · 18A Scheduled for build: January 18, 1968 · 21 Atlanta ordering District · G 3:25 Limited Slip Axle Ration · W C-4 Cruise-O-Matic Transmission Option list. · GT Equipment Group · C-4 Cruise-O-Matic Transmission · Locking Differential · Visibility Group · F70x14 Wide Oval Tires · White Sidewall Nylon Tire · Sport Deck Rear Seat · Console · Power Disc brakes · Air conditioner-Selectaire · Am/FM Stereo Radio · Interior Décor Group · Tinted Glass · Heavy Duty Battery As you can see this is a highly optioned car that is still very original, any parts that have been removed by me have been saved-so they will go to the new owner. This car runs and I have driven it around the property but it is not tagged so I have not taken it for a long cruise and it still has the tires on it from storage my goal was to get it running again and to make it start and stop so it would be easier to restore and move. I have installed a new tank, sending unit 3/8 fuel lines where needed, fuel pump, rebuilt carb and dash pot new, rear brake cylinders and lines, master cylinder, front calibers and a few more that I am forgetting. Also has the GT rim and hubcap for the spare. Also just found the correct snorkle for the air cleaner with the flapper door and vacumn motor, this will go to the winning bidder. Issues · Cowl needs to be done(leaks passenger side that I know of) · Inner fender at the battery needs to be replaced(see picture I just have it temporally installed) · Frame rail under battery box suffered from the battery leaking for 23 years of storage. It is in front section past suspension hard points · Driver side frame rail has a few small holes on the top · Hood is gone in my opinion the hinges where frozen and when it was opened damaged the hinge points plus it has some rust in it. · Passenger side frame rail at turn down has suffered from the cowl leaking · Trunk lid suffered from having 20 flares stored in the trunk and the out gassing caused some corrosion-I would keep it and fix it. · Drivers side rear Quarter needs attention there was a plastic wrapper down in the well and it sweated for 23 years. · Driver’s door needs hinge pins. · Look at the pictures there are a few areas that have rust through but this car is very solid and original. Here is the link for pictures of under the car http://s1121.photobucket.com/albums/l501/Arizona1959/#!cpZZ2QQtppZZ24 The originality, the options and it being a one owner makes this a great Mustang to own. I have a lot more pictures but can only load so many on EBay so if you want a specific one just ask I will take one if I don’t have it. I have the Marti report and a new door data plate and rivets that go with the car as well as well as the buck tag (it is unusual in that it is a door tag upside down-I guess they ran out of buck tags that shift) I am selling this car because the Doctor told me I need two surgeries and the recovery times will be very long and I would rather sell it than let it sit again. So good luck bidding and let me know what questions you may have. Call me if you have any questions Dirk @301-997-8799 Please note: I HAVE DESCRIBED THE CAR TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. HOWEVER, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO CONFIRM THIS DESCRIPTION. I REQUEST AN IN PERSON INSPECTION OF THE CAR PRIOR TO PURCHASE; HOWEVER, IF NOT POSSIBLE, I RECOMMEND A THIRD PARTY INSPECTION OF THE CAR. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ERRORS OR OMISSIONS DUE TO A “SIGHT UNSEEN” PURCHASE. SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS.
