Hello everyone, Henrik here from GM Truck Center, in beautiful downtown Burbank, CA. Home of world famous 4x4's. About this VERY RARE 100% RUST FREE 1977 GMC K30 1 Ton 4 wheel drive truck, with DOCUMENTED 41,520 ORIGINAL MILES. ALL #'S MATCHING. This is a X- Riverside County ( California ), Fire search and rescue vehicle. We have the original mobile equipment maintanance procedure book documenting everthing that was done to this truck since it was new, every oil change, part replacement, add on etc.. down to everytime they put air in the tires and how much. I have included a picture of the original options code, as well as a single picture of the maintanance booklet documenting the miles and options. This truck has been kept in an indoor facility by a private collector for the last 10 years, we aquired it to be used in a major hollywood production, the movie just wrapped filming a few weeks ago and now we are offering this vehicle for sale, as much as I would love to hold on to this truck and display it in our showroom, we simply don't have the room for it. Keep a lookout for more classic 4x4's such as Chevy K5's, GMC Jimmy's, GM Suburbans, 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton's and Jeep CJ's coming up, they are all coming off the same movie which we supplied all the classic trucks and Jeeps for. The movie is loosely based on a true story about a bounty hunter in CA during the late 70's and early 80's, hence all the older trucks. We can not disclose the name of the movie at this time, but look for it next summer. Most of the movie scenes which includes vehicles takes place in and around a ranch thats why most of the vehicles used in the film are classic 4x4's. The truck is now parked in our showroom awaiting its new lucky owner. About the details. We have the original build sheet sticker which indicates how the truck was ordered by the goverment with the SUPER RARE OPTIONS. RARE ordered options on this truck are, - BUCKET SEATS - FACTORY TACHOMETER - FACTORY 4:56 GEAR RATIO - CHROMED GRILLE Factory standard K30 4x4 equipment list is as follows. - 400 CID motor ( runs perfect, all stock untouched ) - Turbo 400 automatic 3-speed ( shifts perfect, all stock untouched ) - NP 203 transfer case ( shifts perfect, all stock untouched ) - DANA 60 front axle (works perfect, all stock untouched ) - GM Corp. 14 bolt full floating HD rear axle ( works perfect, all stock untouched ) - Dual rear wheels ( stock ) - Heavy duty suspension ( stock ) - Tow package ( stock ) - Transmission oil cooler ( stock ) - Dual gas tanks ( stock ) The utility bed and lights were added by the Riverside County Fire Department. Suspension is all stock and in excellent shape. All 4 rear tires are in excellent shape, the spare tire is new, the two front tires have 60% tread left. Original steel wheels in excellent shape. Exterior - Nice shape all original with minor scratches and blemishes as expected. The drivers side and passenger side doors still have the decals from the fire department on them, there are faded letter areas where the Riverside County Fire Department stickers were removed, at the right angle you can still see these areas. The underside of this truck is just as clean as the top side. Interior - New correct color carpet, new fully restored original bucket seats, original dash pad ( couple of minor cracks ), original door panels ( good original shape ) visors ( excellent shape ), instrument cluster ( nice ), everything else all stock and clean. Full instrument cluster with factory tach all the gauges work perfect. All driving and running lights work perfect. NOTE- all the accessory lights were disconnected by the Fire Dept, and can easily be reconnected if desired. The truck runs and drives great, its all original and unrestored, ( other than the carpet and seats ). I think that should just about cover it all, you get the idea, this is proboably the only truck with this kind of miles on it in existance that has not been restored. IT DOES NOT GET MUCH RARER THAN THIS. SINCE I AM NOT SURE WHAT THIS TRUCK IS WORTH, I AM LISTING IT WITH NO RESERVE. This truck can be trusted to be driven cross country, but I would not recommend it due to the 4:56 gear ratio, its not happy at speeds much over 60.
