In the last four years, I have invested about $5,000 in rebuilding/restoration (have records). Always serviced. It is truly a beautiful car. Always starts right up and drives great with excellent acceleration and speed -- smooth as glass. Tires are great -- even wear with 90% tread. Transmission shifts perfectly. Engine only has 71,000 miles an doesn't use any oil. The paint is excellent with a deep metallic blue and clear coat -- no rust. It is so nice, our Jaguar mechanic invited me to put the car in the St Louis Jaguar Club show this year. The A/C and heat systems work great with the aftermarket amplifier installed and A/C converted to 134A. The only issue is a very small coolant seepage from the left rear corner of the headgasket. Oil is clear and seeping stops as soon as the engine is warm. Nice clean interior (non-smoker) with no tears or rips or holes. Power windows and sunroof -- all work. It is a great car and has been fun for my wife and I to drive everywhere. I'm just not sure whether to sell or what. I guess if someone would like a Jaguar, this would be a great one to start with.
