1985 Jeep J10 4x4 Pickup Truck Partially Restored Original: Georgia Truck since new 4.2 6 cylinder 4x4 Engine Rebuid 1985 Jeep J10 4x4 4.2 In Line 6 Well Preserved Classic Jeep Full Size Truck I purhased this Jeep J10 from a gentleman in north Georgia who owned it since 1995. Prior to that it was owned by the Gwinnett County DOT since new. Because it was owned by the county, it was very well maintained over the years. The gentlemen I purchased it from also had the engine rebuilt within the last year. In addition,I have done the following repairs myself: New carpet New seat springs and cover New two toned white over gold paint New rear main seal and valve cover gasket This is not a show truck but it is a truck with good bones as they say in the housing industry. There is very little rust since it has been in Georgia its entire life. It starts right up and will take you anywhere you want to go in style. It does have an under the dash Factory Jeep AC but it does not work. It blows but not cold. I have not had this checked but the compressor and all parts are still on the truck should the purchaser want to have this repaired. The 4x4 works great. The transmission shifts strong and sure. There are no leaks. The tires have tread but are not a matching set. The wheels are original but have the normal wear and tear for a 27 year old truck. For $800 you could install new tires and wheels that would really make the truck look awesome. However, I have priced the truck to give you the option of selecting your own tires and wheels. I am an individual, not a dealer, so there are no sales taxes. This is the first time in years that I have used Ebay to sell anything so you will not find much, if any, history. However, I am a normal person who will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Just email me. It is a really cool truck with a huge bed. The sheet metal is very thick and it weighs over 6000 pounds so it is a rugged Jeep.. True to the Jeep legend. I love the simplicity of driving this truck. You just put it in drive and go. If you need to check for traffic, you just turn your head as the visability in the single cab is very good. The fender flares are aggressive and unque. It sits lower to the ground than most trucks which makes it easier to get in and out of. However, a set of 31 x 10.5 x 15's would really look great on this truck with new wheels per your choice.
