The previous owner drove it 12 hours to bring it to us. The car ran great but we noticed a noise coming from the engine. An inspection by the Chevrolet dealership discovered that the first lifter and camshaft were scarred so they performed a full engine rebuild, at a cost of approximately $6000. The work is warranteed for 12 months or 12k miles at any GM dealership nationwide. This was a full rebuild and everything on the motor is new - seals, rods, pistons, oil pump, water pump, timing chain, plugs, wires, etc. We went with a Comp Cams XFI RPM Hi-Lift XR265HR Cam Kit upgrade. The Carfax is clean, though Autocheck reports some kind of minor damage. I can't speculate on what that might have been, but the body and paint are both superb. The tires have deep and even tread and are balanced perfectly. A couple of the wheels have some rash on the edge. I have a service to repair that and can have it done for the winning bidder at my cost ($65 per wheel). The brakes are excellent. The leather, dash and carpets are all in excellent condition without any defects. All functions of the car work, with the exception of the rear defroster and I suspect that the passenger door lock actuator may be going bad. It works but has failed at times.
