You are looking at an auction for 1976 Cheyenne C20 Longbed Pickup. The odometer reads 89k miles but I assume it has turned over at least once. The truck will be sold miles exempt. This truck is equipped with a small block V8 which was professionally converted to run on propane (back in the late 70's according to a sticker under the hood). This truck runs and drives but will not comply with California Emissions and will have to be Sold to a buyer outside of California. The engine runs well but apparently the air fuel mixture on the carburetor isn't right so it puts out a powerful propane odor. The exhaust is in need of some attention as well, as it is quite loud. Otherwise the truck seems to be in good running condition although I have driven it less than 100 miles in the 10 months that I have owned it. Transmission, brakes, steering all seem fine. The exterior of the truck is pretty good except for a large dent/scrape on the passenger side of the bed at the bottom (can be easily repaired). Other than that, the truck is very straight with no major damage or rust that I can see. Paint looks original and is a little faded but would probably polish up nicely. Of course there are minor scatches and nicks but overall pretty good shape for a 35 year old truck. The interior condition is quite good. Headliner, carpet, seat, door panels all look good. The dash is good although there is a little cracking in the speaker grille. All in all a very clean interior for an old truck. Please remember THIS TRUCK CAN NOT BE SOLD TO CALIFORNIA BUYERS because of the smog issue, no exceptions. The truck has a clean Washington title.
