Paint is in excellent condition with no scratches, rust or dents whatsoever as car has been covered everyday. $200-New black carpet kit $550-New front and rear seats$180-New white headliner kit included but not installed $260-New front windshield glass with trim and seal.$220-New interior black door panels.$20-New chrome stereo antenna.$340-Aluminum molding for interior and exterior.$250-Vintage wood and metal roof rack.$175-New gas tank, sending unit and gas cap.$120-Rebuilt Solex H30/31 Pict carburator.$700-Used 1600cc single port engine rebuilt within the last 3 years from a 1973 VW with great even compression across all cylinders with readings of 105 to 120psi per cylinder. Stock engine was a 1300cc and too slow for freeway use numbers are not matching, Engine was replaced with a 1600.Transaxle shifts perfectly and smoothly in all gears and the clutch is in good condition as well.$65-New complete rewiring for 12 volt charging system and engine bay.$22-New optional chrome mirror for passenger side with hinge pin included but not installed.$150-New spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel pump, fuel filter, air cleaner, air filter and voltage regulator.$6,700-invested in paint and new restoration parts within the last year!Look at the pictures below and you will see your new dream ride, I have done my best to describe everything to you.Horn is missing in front compartment area it (cost $20) Front and rear drum brakes and parking brake work fine.Speedometer, Odometer, Headlights, Tail lights, Brake lights function as intended, Turn signals are not connected and need some parts available on eBay. Cost about $40 to fixEngine runs great and should be very reliable as it is perfectly tuned and timed. Oil change done on 01/28/12. Starts on first try.Sunroof slides open and closes with the palm of your hand but should be repaired for use with crank handle.
