Vehicle Detail
Awesome American Muscle! Beautiful 1967 Camaro ready for cruise nights and fun blasts down the road! Nice electric blue paint with white stripes and spoilers, gets thumbs up and attention wherever we take her. This is a no frills cruiser, in very nice overall condition- the pictures tell the story. The engine is a big block 427, which we had completely gone through last year by a very reputable local shop. We had the valves done, a new cam installed, the crank polished, everything else checked out- this is a very strong engine with a Holley 4 barrel carb, headers and a free flow dual exhaust- it sounds awesome and goes great! We also had the front suspension replaced with new coils and a tubular arm front suspension- it rides and handles great! It has front power disc brakes and power steering. The rear is a 12 bolt posi differential. The transmission is a 5 speed Richmond unit with a kevlar clutch- very strong, with a fifth gear overdrive for the highway. The tires are almost new, lots of tread left- they are 215/45 R17 Kuhmos mounted on 17X7 Boyd Coddington rims on the front, and 245/45 R17 Kuhmos mounted on 17X9 Boyd Coddington rims on the rear- the car sits nice and handles great on this set up. The interior is in good shape, with nice bucket seats and a center console with working oil pressure, fuel, ammeter and water temperature gauges- the clock does not work though. Some of the other things that could be done: the speedometer needs to be recalibrated- it is about ten miles an hour optimistic at 65 mph, probably because of the wheel/tranny and rear end combination. Also, the horn has never worked since we've had the car- probably an easy fix, but we never got around to fixing it- we only occasionally use the Camaro for cruise nights and local cruising. Please look at the pictures carefully and feel free to ask any questions before bidding- the winning bidder is responsible for pick up and any transport costs, but I'll be glad to assist in any way I can with getting the Camaro loaded up for shipping as necessary. I'll only sell within the U.S.- no overseas bidders please. Local pick up would be great, and I'll be glad to show the car locally as well for inspection or test drives. Although the Camaro shows great, it is a driver, not a show car, so there are a couple of road chips and scratches which have been touched up. We'll accept cash in person for the sale or certified bank checks for payment- a $1000.00 deposit will be required at the end of the auction by the winning bidder, which can probably be done through Paypal. Thanks a lot for looking!
