Whatever it sells for is what it will sell for. The UntouchaBelII was built per factory AFX Specs by "Mr. Rich The Performance King" and was featuring in both Hot Rod and Mopar Muscle Magazines. Together Arnie (the owner) and Rich built the stage 5 13.5 to 1 Stroker Hemi. It was a process that produced 627 rear wheel horsepower to a 4.56 Dana gear set on Luniat Springs with no tubbing The car is very drivable on street but slicks limit it's range obviously. Both Arnie and Rich have gone to great lengths to keep this clone of an original funny car correct as possible. E-Mail us for an appointment to see for yourself. Original Hemi cars are getting so valuable and hard to find that you would not want to take a real one down the drag strip. No worries with this one, it does some serious racing. Just turn the key and go out to have more fun than should be legal. This is a legit 10 second car. It sports a 496 cubic inch fuel injected Hemi with Hilborne Stacks with a dyno'd 626 horsepower at the rear wheels (see dyno sheet in the pictures). It has a stout 4 speed in it which makes it really fun to drive. This one takes the front wheels off the ground at will and is lettered "Untoucha-Bel II". Recently the owner has put in a new line lock, rebuilt the slick shift 4 speed, put in an aluminum case for the 4 speed, reworked the clutch linkage, new ceramic button clutch from McLeod, new high pressure fuel pump, and a super shifter modeled after Lee Smith. The motor has over $30,000 into it and everything is top notch high end parts. To go over everything would take pages so if you want all the details on the motor give the owner a call, just e-mail us for the number. The body on this car looks great. The body has fiberglass dashboard, doors, bumpers, fenders, deck lid, hood and the 4 speed hump greatly keeping the weight down. The side glass is lexan and it has a correct vintage roll cage in it. Another safety improvement is a 5 point seat belt to run your 10 second quarter miles. The interior is a correct looking A-990 with the A-100 van seats and light weight brackets. Also please note that the car comes with steel front wheels. Click on the video below to see one of the first tests of the car. The owner is testing it at the "launch test site." The bottom line is this car ran a 10.7 @ 128 MPH with the previous 511 cu in motor that dyno'd at 534 rear wheel HP, the current 496 inch motor is putting out 627 HP. The owner is only selling the car to work on another project or else it would not be for sale. The owner loves this car and is willing to talk with the new owner anytime about the car after purchase. A lot of work has gone into making the car what it is now and he is willing to help in any way. Please e-mail us to set up an appointment to see the car. The car is located in Maple Valley, Washington, which is about 30 minutes southeast of Seattle, Washington. Every effort has been made to make an accurate description of this car, but some things were probably missed. This is an awesome car that is in excellent condition, but it is not without its flaws. It is a 40 year old car, so please do not assume it is 100% mechanically perfect. This car has slicks so it will need to be trailered home. We accept Money Orders, Cashier's Check, Wire Transfer or Cash in Person. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit must be made within 48 hours of the auction ending. Payment must be made within fourteen days of the auction finishing. The car must be either shipped or picked up within thirty days of the auction finishing.
